Planned litter

When I spend too much time with my dear dogoholic friends Alen and Tanja, we develop interesting ideas. Here it is – our newest plan:

We decided to breed Kiša because of her exceptional working abilities. She turned out to be a great mixture of her parents, as she inherited versatility from her legendary mum Miška Certisa and furiosity from her father Mawlch Grom. That means she can basically do whatever you can think of and she can do it in a great style. At the moment she is at the begining of her agility carier, she just recently started to run in A3.  She passed BH test and IPO 1 with 97/100 for protection work, which tells pretty much everything about her drive. I try to use every opportunity to work with sheep. She has good instinct, but lacks more training. Even though she had almost no experience with Frisbee, she won mini distance challenge at the only competition in which she has ever competed. For the purpose of 1. Croatian sheepdog championship I have started to train her for area search, and she showed lots of potential. She has the ability to work independently, and huge motivation for searching.

 

At the moment we are still choosing among 2 males. Rex and his son Satan. We found them in a small village near Slunj, and were impressed by their appearance and attitude. They are both full time shepherds, they heard as well as protect the flock when needed. They both have very friendly and open nature and great working abilities. And they are both really handsome fellows

Because I truly respect and admire what Alen has done for this breed, I wanted to give him the opportunity to carry on with his excellent job, and decided to breed Kiša`s pups under his kennel.  So Kiša`s pups will be the 5th generation of Mawlch Croatian Sheepdogs.

Because of the nature of both parents, the puppies will be available for working homes only.
